It is important that the business of these men remain discreet, if only for the company to continue to eat meat instead of dead body. Tormented by social convention of concealment of death and the political correctness of the rights of animals, slaughterhouse workers face a particularly challenging work, poorly paid and dirty as much as any other. The ritual of death is done on an industrial scale in the chain, purely capitalist, without losing time to look at the victim's eyes, without being able to say proudly to their friends at a barbecue: there is meat, that I killed, « good appetite ».
